Carboreal Plc is strengthening its commercial organization by appointing Milla Mélart as the company's Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Mélart’s appointment reinforces the company’s commercial capabilities at a time when the demand for scientifically grounded and reliably verified carbon sequestration solutions is growing both in Finland and internationally.

As CRO, Mélart will be responsible for leading Carboreal’s commercial operations and scaling the company’s growth. Her responsibilities include commercial strategy development, advancing customer-centric sales and marketing, enhancing the customer experience, and fostering long-term, responsible partnerships.

“Carboreal is building a new type of market based on natural values while placing sustainability at the core of its work through the creation of new forests in Finland. For me, this is an opportunity to combine commercial leadership, customer value creation, and meaningful societal impact. I strongly believe that sustainable growth is built on a clear strategy, bold execution, and people succeeding together. As a forester (M.Sc. in Agriculture and Forestry) and a forest owner, returning to my roots in forestry and sustainable growth feels both natural and inspiring at this point in my career,” says Mélart.

Mélart brings to Carboreal extensive experience in commercial strategy, customer value-driven business development, and the leadership of B2B consultative sales in Finnish, Nordic, and international business environments.

“Milla has a unique ability to bring modern sales and marketing together under one umbrella through collaboration and data-driven decision-making. Although the CRO role is new to us, we see it as an important next step toward international growth in line with our ambitions. I warmly welcome Milla to the team and the leadership group to share her experience and fresh ideas,” comments Salomo Vilén, CEO of Carboreal.
